Falling Pixel offers a platform for companies and freelance artists to sell, publish, market and distribute their works to a worldwide audience, without a need for upfront payments or subscription charges.
Falling Pixel is one of the world’s largest providers of high quality 3D content. Although based in the UK and primarily serving the large and expanding European 3D industry, we offer both our off-the-shelf and bespoke services to everyone, making us a true global provider of 3D Graphics. We cater for almost every industry; however specialise in high quality, pre-rendered visualisation intended for print, animation and the TV and Advertising industry. We also provide real-time compatible content on the marketplace and are able to produce bespoke real-time graphics for use in anything from Games to Simulations. As well as our rapidly growing 3D Model library we also house support files such as Textures and Materials/Shaders, and also plan to offer Tutorials and Software in the near future.
Who We Are
Falling Pixel was launched in November 2006, by two Computer Animation BSc students, Jonathan Lloyd and Nathan Hornby; with a vision to provide a service which would challenge some of the previously larger 3D asset marketplaces. However This challenge was not financial, but a challenge to provide a service that has been truly developed for the artist, and will continue to grow with our artists in mind. Not only do we not pass extra charges onto our members, such as any Import/Export tax, we also provide one of the highest fixed royalty rates, at 58%. We also pride ourselves not only on the quality of our products, but also the quality of our professional, industry relevant customer service; maintaining a support response time of 30-60 minutes during normal working hours* which we appreciate can be the difference between your projects success, or its failure.
3DRequest™
3DRequest™ is Falling Pixel’s bespoke service, which caters for almost any 3D graphic based project. Our professional, experienced Project Managers manage the whole process, relieving the strain on your projects creation. 3DRequest™ is a completely unique studio setup, utilising not only in-house artists but also Falling Pixel’s vast and varied artist base; meaning that we can cater for almost any budget or project type and can provide a very quick turn-around, all with Falling Pixels high quality standards.
* Dependant on the volume of incoming and outgoing communications. ‘Normal working’ hours are 9:00 – 17:00 GMT; however our support is provided on a 24 hour, 365 days a year basis.
